Sudoku without ads, a download, or a player account
Play the Sudoku board in your browser without installing an app, registering a player account, or viewing ads. JavaScript is needed for the interactive grid. Optional analytics are separate from the puzzle, so declining them does not change its clues, rules, or available legal entries.

How to play
Sudoku rules
Fill each row, column, and 3 × 3 box with the digits 1–9 without repeats. Bold digits are fixed clues. Select a cell, then a number. Conflicts highlight duplicates; the absence of a conflict does not prove an entry is correct. Hint fills one cell with its solution value. Erase clears the selected entry; Undo restores the previous move. New puzzles have a unique solution.
Start with the actual nine-by-nine puzzle
The main grid has nine rows, nine columns, and nine three-by-three boxes. Fill each group with the digits 1 through 9 without repeats. Starting clues are fixed; the entries you make are editable. You do not need to submit a name or email address to begin selecting cells.
Wait for the board and number controls to appear, then check the active cell before entering a digit. On a phone, a highlighted row or box is a reference area rather than an invitation to fill whichever blank happens to be closest. The lack of an installer does not remove the need to identify the exact location you are changing.
Distinguish a selection mistake from a reasoning mistake
Suppose a column is missing 4 and you intend to fill its only blank. If another cell remains selected, entering 4 changes that other position. The digit might not cause an immediate duplicate there, even though it is not the action you meant to take. Inspect the selection and its row, column, and box.
Likewise, an entry can be locally permitted yet wrong for the puzzle’s full solution. A conflict indicator checks visible repetitions; it is not a promise that every unmarked entry is correct. New main-board puzzles are checked for a unique solution, but that property concerns the starting puzzle rather than approving every choice a player later makes.
Use correction controls for the intended change
Clear removes the selected editable entry. Undo reverses an earlier action, possibly in another cell. If you entered a doubtful number and then worked elsewhere, these controls may preserve different amounts of later work. Choose the change you actually want to reverse rather than treating both buttons as identical erasers.
A hint supplies a correct value for a cell. That can help you continue, but it is assistance rather than proof that your own earlier reasoning found it. Fixed clues cannot be erased like player entries. Before calling the puzzle complete, every row, column, and box must satisfy the digit rule; filling the blanks or reaching a row sum of 45 is not enough by itself.
Keep privacy choices separate from progress
Declining optional statistics does not block the game, reduce its controls, or change the generated clue values. The analytics preference belongs to the site’s privacy controls, not to the number-entry tool. An ad-free page should not require a personal profile as a substitute for the absent advertising.
Progress is local to the browser when storage is available and retained. It is not synchronized through a player account across phones and computers. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or sharing a device can affect what you see on your next visit. Read any storage notice and inspect the saved position rather than assuming that closing a tab creates a separate remote backup.
Use ordinary access rather than expecting network bypass
A browser page does not override school, workplace, or device restrictions. If access is blocked or JavaScript is disabled by policy, this site does not provide an evasion method. Use a permitted setting instead of interpreting “no download” as a promise that the game is available on every network.
You can stop after one justified digit, a useful elimination, or a corrected assumption. Pause preserves a different intention from confirming a reset. Check the confirmation if you mean to keep your current position. The page offers a puzzle without ads and account signup; it does not guarantee a particular completion time, a health outcome, or identical performance on every device.
